My Work
Here is a selection of work from the past 8 years, spanning 16mm, 35mm, and digital cinematography. Covering fiction, documentary, commercials, and experimental films, these projects showcase expertise, blending traditional film craft with modern digital techniques to create compelling cinematic storytelling and striking visual narratives.

About Me
I am a freelance cinematographer / director of photography based in Mumbai, working across fiction, documentary, experimental, and commercial projects. My training spans India, Europe, and the United States. In India, I had the opportunity to learn under renowned cinematographers Anil Mehta, Setu, and Anay Goswami, all members of the Indian Society of Cinematographers. In Prague, I studied with legendary Czech cinematographers Vladimir Smutný and Jaroslav Brabec, and in the US, I trained under members of the American Society of Cinematographers, including Wally Pfister, Linus Sandgren, Edu Grau, Autumn Durald, and James Friend.
I work across both 16/35mm film and digital cinematography, with a focus on cinematic storytelling — shaping emotion through light, rhythm, and camera language. Drawing inspiration from painting and music, I explore texture, harmony, and feeling in every frame.
Alongside my freelance cinematography, I also pursue independent filmmaking, balancing collaborations with personal projects. My aim is to create visuals that not only tell stories but also leave a meaningful mark on contemporary cinematography.
